Galiano Island

Galiano Island is a short 55-minute ferry ride from Tsawwassen on the Lower Mainland.

Galiano is a rural, largely undeveloped island boasting beautiful sandstone rock formations, idyllic beaches, and many beautiful parks. The island is teeming with wildlife and has an amazing bounty of birds (including many bald eagles), black-tailed deer, and other forest creatures. The seashore offers playing otters, swimming seals and, if you're lucky, an orca pod!

There are breathtaking hikes to lead you into a day of adventure, and many shops and services to spend time exploring.

After a day of adventure, relax and dine at one of the island's fabulous restaurants, or pick up some groceries from one of Galiano's markets, prepare a seaside meal and watch the sunset.
